Azores Airlines will increase its flights between Lisbon (mainland Portugal) and the island of Pico (Azores) during the next IATA Summer 2025, with an additional direct flight from July 4 to August 29, on Fridays.
With this reinforcement, the airline will gradually increase the capacity offered during the IATA summer period (between April and October), reaching six direct flights per week at the season's peak.
This new connection will depart Lisbon at 12:00 PM (local time) and arrive at 1:45 PM, while the Pico - Lisbon flight will depart at 2:35 PM (local time) and arrive at 6:05 PM, offering more travel options for passengers wishing to visit the island or travel to the mainland.
Azores Airlines and SATA Air Açores, both part of the SATA Group, continuously monitor market demand to optimize capacity and adjust operations in line with commercial feasibility and operational viability. This increase in service is in line with Azores Airlines' commitment to reinforce the number of direct flights between Portugal mainland and the Azores Archipelago during the high season.
This year's IATA summer timetable runs between March 29 and October 25.
