Your trip to the Azores starts on board with our meals inspired by our central destination! Fresh, high-quality products make up our menus, complemented by wines specially selected for you. We offer a dining experience in the clouds that will take you to the nine islands of this magical archipelago without leaving your seat.

On flights to/from North America, a complimentary snack will be served, accompanied by drinks.
Domestic* and medium-haul flights
The inflight meal service is available as a buy-on-board option (1) on domestic flights and flights to/from Europe and Africa operated by Azores Airlines (2), allowing you to choose from a wider range of options, suited to your preferences. Payment is made at the time of purchase by credit or debit card only (3). The receipts are digital and can be easily requested here.

- On Azores Airlines flights and routes operated by SATA Air Açores, a complimentary snack will be served, accompanied by drinks.
- American Express, Apple Pay, Chip and Pin, Contactless, Mastercard, Samsung Pay, Visa and Google Pay. Payment currency: Euros only. Payment limit: 100 euros per transaction. Cash payments are not accepted.
*The onboard meal service is not available on flights between the Azores islands.
Special meals
If you have any food restrictions, ask us for your special meal suited to your needs when booking for your long-haul flight through our Contact Center (+351 296 209 720), through the email address info@sata.pt or at any SATA Azores Airlines sales point up to 7 days before your flight departure time. We offer vegetarian meals, specific meals for diabetics or special meals for children and babies.
Note: Some types of special meals may not be available at all airports, so your request will be on standby until confirmation.
Food allergies and intolerances
If you have a severe allergy due to airborne inhalation / exposure to a certain food, we cannot guarantee that the aircraft cabin is free of the allergen in question, as the onboard service cannot be altered, and we cannot control the food / products that other passengers are carrying.
Before traveling, and to avoid any inconveniences, we recommend that you see your doctor. If necessary, carry the appropriate medication for your condition in your hand luggage.

Passengers can choose between gluten-free, lactose-free, vegan, and vegetarian options.
We suggest you check page 17 of the menu, where you will find all the allergen icons.
There is no quantity limit per passenger. However, the products available on board are limited and subject to stock availability during the flight. In addition, each transaction is limited to a maximum of 100 euros.
At SATA Azores Airlines, sustainability is a priority. That's why all our receipts are digital and available on our website, where you can request them quickly and conveniently.
