Travel between Paris and the Azores is simplified and optimized for passengers of both airlines.
Thanks to the code-share agreement now signed between SATA Azores Airlines and Air France, new possibilities are presented to customers of both airlines wishing to travel between the city of Paris and the Azores Archipelago (via Lisbon or Porto) or between the Azores and Paris (via Lisbon or Porto).
The agreement makes it possible to start the journey in Paris-Charles de Gaulle and fly to any of the five gateways of the Archipelago, namely the islands of São Miguel, Santa Maria, Terceira, Pico, and Faial.

As of January 27, 2020, customers of both carriers can either book their flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and one of the five islands of the Archipelago of the Azores or book a flight from the Azores to Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
SATA Azores Airlines places its code on the Air France (AF) flights operated on Airbus A319, A320, and A321, from Lisbon and Porto to Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Air France places its code on the SATA Azores Airlines (S4) flights operated on Airbus A320, and A321, from Porto and Lisbon to the Azores.
Under this agreement, SATA Azores Airlines and Air France offer around 70 shared flights a week between Lisbon and Porto and the Azores, and around 60 flights a week between Lisbon and Porto and Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
As far as comfort for passengers is concerned, this agreement makes it possible to offer a simplified booking and travel process, in which a single air ticket is issued. Passengers enjoy the possibility of checking in until their final destination, including for their luggage, without loss of benefits, whether it be about baggage allowance or the accumulation of points in their respective frequent flyer programs.
