Payment methods available

Credit cards

Payments can be made with the following credit cards: VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Dinners. For safety reasons, restrictions to credit card payments can be applied for payments made less than 24 hours before flight departure. If that happens to you, contact our services using the following address.

ATM and Homebanking

You can also pay by a bank reference number that is generated once you have completed the booking process. After receiving the payment references, you can proceed through an ATM or via Homebanking, by searching in your account for Payments> Services and introducing the information that has been sent to your email. The ATM (Multibanco) or Homebanking services are only allowed if your Debit Card was issued in Portugal. The time limit for payments is presented after the booking process. Your booking will be automatically canceled if the payment is not done on time.

MB Way

To use this payment method, you must download the MB Way App to your smartphone or tablet. Once you have the MB Way service available on your device, confirm the purchase and proceed by authorizing the transaction with your MB Way PIN. The time limit for payment will be associated to your flight’s departure time. Time limits will be presented once you finish the booking process. PayPal

Cash&Miles

Cash&Miles allows all SATA IMAGINE members to use their miles for the full or partial purchase of an airline ticket (except airport taxes), at any fare and in any booking class, by paying the remainder by credit card or PayPal. To use this payment option, simply book an Azores Airlines or SATA Air Açores flight online and choose the number of miles you wish to use. Using Cash&Miles also has the advantage of adding all travel miles to your SATA IMAGINE card, as for travels purchased without miles. This is exclusive for online sales and is available to all SATA IMAGINE frequent flyer program members on flights operated by Azores Airlines or SATA Air Açores.
