For those who wish to experience the destination in April and later, between October and December, Azores Airlines launched a special Lisbon Travel Market 2023 campaign, which runs until March 10. Between March 1st and 10th, flights can be purchased at prices starting at 90 euros (round trip) for trips between Lisbon and Porto and the Azores, 449 euros (round trip) for trips between Porto or Lisbon and Boston or New York, and 499 euros (round trip) between Lisbon or Porto and Toronto. The airline maintains 72 direct flights to the Azores from Boston, Toronto, New York, Paris, Barcelona, Lisbon, Porto, Funchal, and Cape Verde in the total IATA winter offer. It also keeps regular operations in Madeira and the connection between New York and Funchal.
Prior to that, and to attend the peak of the busiest season of the year, the IATA summer, and especially from June onwards, SATA airlines (SATA Air Açores and Azores Airlines) expect 116 weekly flights to the Azores, coming from eight different countries, to which are added 262 weekly interisland flights, serving the nine islands of the archipelago, to which are added eleven weekly flights to connect the two Portuguese Archipelagos – Azores and Madeira. Next summer, the Ponta Delgada | Bilbao | Ponta Delgada route, starting in June, should be highlighted.
In addition to travel suggestions, other genuinely Azorean initiatives welcome the visitor. The usual Happy Hour Taste Azores, between 3 PM and 4 PM, which is an invitation to take a break for a snack to breathe from the hustle and bustle of the fair and savour the timeless flavours of the Azores. Summer is like winter, and nobody can resist the good cheese, the unmistakable butter from the Azores, the cookies from other times, and the typical drinks of passion fruit, orange juice, and mineral water from the dormant Furnas volcano.
And why not try your luck on the wheel of fortune and see if you get a nice toast or a long-dreamed trip? A flight simulator for fans, a tasting corner for networking, and surprises for the little ones complete the agenda.
The Azorean airlines – SATA Air Açores and Azores Airlines – will be represented in pavilion 4, stand 4C23, and look forward to welcoming business partners, aviation enthusiasts and travelers.
